The Table lamp is made from a deer leather captured in Otsuchi, Iwate, Japan. Otsuchi was destroyed by the devastating tsunami caused by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.
Our crop has been damaged due to a significant increase in number of deer, while the population of local residents declined. Local hunters started
the Gibier business to carry on the life of a deer that was hunted as vermin. This lamp was created in a hope to carry on deer's life and create a feeling of peace to the user.
