About Coastline Miis
Coastline waa miis ka dhashay fikradda kororka heerka badda ee ka dhasha kulaylka caalamiga ah. Saqafka miiska waxaa laga sameeyay akrilig, oo sidoo kale loo yaqaan PMMA, waxaana loo qaabeeyay heerkul sare si uu u ekaado biyo bad oo saafi ah. Qaabdhismeedka taageerada waxaa laga sameeyay alwaaxda michelia compressa iyo geed kina, waxaana alwaaxdu matalaysaa dhererka buuraha. Waxaa la doortay alwaax adag si qaab-dhismeedku uusan u qalloocin inta lagu jiro habka kulaylinta. Cidhifka aan siman wuxuu xasuusinayaa xeebta ay badda duulan tahay, iyadoo isku-darka walxaha uu iftiinka u oggolaanayo inuu ka dusha maro lakabyo. Miisku wuxuu leeyahay ballaadh 350 mm, mowduuc 650 mm iyo dhererta 500 mm.

- Unique Properties
- The clearness of the sea is represented by liquid acrylic, and the height of the mountain is mainly wood, creating a combination of different materials that echoes the light of the layers.

- Production Technology
- The table top is mainly made of PMMA, and the table is mainly made of michelia compressa and Pine.
- Design Challenge
- Liquid acrylic material is selected as the table top. Liquid acrylic shaping requires high-temperature heating. Therefore, hard wood is selected so that it will not deform during heating.
Considering the above, in the end, the desktop wood is chosen to use the hard texture Michelia compressa wood.
Liquid acrylic color grading is also one of the big challenges. It takes a lot of time for each test to get the best color and transmittance. - Inspiration
- Taking the rising sea level caused by global warming as the starting point, the coastline was eroded by the seawater and showed an uneven appearance, making the table more layered.
- Project Duration
- The project started in January 2017 in Taiwan. And finished in June 2017 in Taiwan. And was exhibited in Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in June 2017. For the second time in Taipei Pavilion of fashion in November 2019.
- Operation Flow
- This is a table with good light transmission and beauty.
