Orosi është një unazë e frymëzuar nga dritaret Orosi të arkitekturës tradicionale iraniane. Dritaret Orosi janë dritare të gjata që shtrihen nga tavani deri te dyshemeja dhe mbajnë xham të ngjyrosur në modele gjeometrike. Unaza kujton dritaret e Pallatit Golestan në një formë të vogël të veshur në dorë. Unaza është bërë nga argjend i pastër dhe është formuar me dorë duke përdorur metoda tradicionale iraniane, duke përfshirë prerjen, formësimin dhe shkrirjen e argjendit. Një formë vizuale e thjeshtë u zgjodh për lehtësi përdorimi. Qëllimi është të paraqesë kulturën dhe artin e Iranit.

Unique Properties: Ororis are large windows extending from ceiling to the floor, and each of its casements provides an enchanted feeling in both exterior and interior, by using tinted glasses and geometric shapes. To provide illumination and make sound balance are two features of Orosi Windows.

Production Technology: Making of silver jewelry is known to be one of the oldest traditional arts in Iran and this ring has been made by the same traditional methods and out of pure silver - through handcrafting like cutting, shaping and silver fusing.
Design Challenge: In middle Persian9, Orosi translates as illumination and light.
The challenge in this project was to exhibit the resulting outcome of illumination and light from unique colors of Orosi windows in designing a glamorous ring.
Research: This ring has been designed and crafted by the inspiration of old Iranian architecture.
This wearable architecture has embodied a 453 years of history of Golestan Palace (Unesco world heritage site) in itself.
Inspiration: This particular ring has been made by inspiration of Orosi windows which had various functionality in traditional Iranian architecture.The design is mainly inspired from glamourous forms of Orosi windows of Golestan Palace to resemble a miniature embodiment in user’s hand.
Project Duration: The project research started in 2017 and in 2019 was finalized after design and prototyping.
Operation Flow: In the design and crafting process of this ring, visual appeal, in its simplest form and ease of use, has been prioritized. The attempt was to design and produce a ring which represents the culture and art of Iran.
Team Members: Salomeh sorouri
