Cloud Mountain Type është një lloj shkronje i frymëzuar nga malet me re dhe mjegull të Zhang Jiajie-t dhe nga piktura e lashtë kineze e peizazheve. Format e shkronjave ndërthurin imazhet tradicionale kineze të reve dhe maleve me strukturën e alfabetit latin. Çdo karakter është vizatuar me dorë dhe më pas është përpunuar me softuer për imazhe dixhitale, dhe lloji i shkronjës mund të përdoret në përmasa të ndryshueshme. Kur shihen shumë nga afër, detajet marrin përparësi dhe shkronja bëhet e vështirë për t'u dalluar, ashtu siç forma e një mali nuk mund të shihet nga maja e tij.

Unique Properties: The Cloud Mountain Type inspired by Zhang Jiajie, the Chinese cloud-fog mountains and ancient Chinese landscape painting. Combined the traditional Chinese clouds landscape with western character. The Chinese saying: You cannot recognize the shape of a mountain when you stand on it. When you stare at the details of the font, you even can’t recognize the letter itself, that is because you have already stand on the cloud-fog mountains.

Project Duration: The project started in 2016 in Beijing and finished in 2021 in Shenzhen, and was exhibited in New York, Berlin and Seoul.
