Engawa – Redefinisanje porodičnih prostora u tradicionalnoj japanskoj arhitekturi; Engawa, karakteristična odlika tradicionalne japanske arhitekture, predstavlja most između unutrašnjeg i spoljašnjeg prostora, zamućujući granice dok istovremeno definiše prostorne funkcije. Ovaj arhitektonski element inspirisao je nov pristup porodičnoj interakciji, posebno u dizajnu međuprostora koji besprekorno povezuju dnevnu sobu, trpezariju i radnu sobu bez prostornog ometanja. - The structural elements inspired by engawa provides sufficient family storage space with surface planes for diverse usage.
For instance, mothers may fold clothes or do chores on the platform near the laundry room.
The proper height and space of the engawa also serve as an alternative for meeting guests
or an exciting area for children to play games. - Design Challenge
- We make space for family storage needs within the limits of interconnected, standalone, enriched, and fun rooms.
