About Lai Hao Enterijer prodavnice suvenira
Lai Hao je enterijer prodavnice suvenira koja se nalazi u Ximendingu, u Tajpeju na Tajvanu. Prodavnica prodaje tajvanske kulturne i kreativne proizvode. Dizajn kombinuje vintage i moderne elemente. Furnir od drveta i tonovi ratana podsećaju na tradicionalne prodavnice mešovite robe, dok pod od imitacije teraca dodaje teksturu prostoru. Pokretna ostrva i odvojive pegboard table omogućavaju fleksibilno postavljanje izloženih proizvoda. Raspored prostora formira petlju koja vodi posetioce kroz 66,1 kvadratni metar prostora, smeštenog u zgradi staroj preko 50 godina.

- Unique Properties
- The store features striking neon art, with tubing outlining Ximen and Taipei 101, symbolizing Taiwan's vibrant culture. The shop sign mirrors the Gaji bag's colors, aligning with the brand's logo. A vintage lightbox paired with neon lighting blends nostalgia and modernity, creating a captivating visual experience. Wooden elements and rattan tones evoke memories of local grocery stores, while detachable racks and mobile islands ensure flexible displays. Terrazzo flooring adds dynamic texture, and a soft, natural palette provides a warm, inviting backdrop for the products.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The space spans 66.1 square meters and is a store that is over 50 years old. In terms of layout, the designer took into account the front-to-back and vertical dimensions, incorporating movable islands that create varying levels with higher sides and a lower center. The arrangement of the islands transforms the circulation into a loop, encouraging more exploration and purchasing behavior. The pegboard designs on either side can be adjusted and reconfigured according to the shapes and sizes of the displayed items, allowing for flexibility in showcasing products.

The designer carefully adjusted the brightness of the lightboxes to ensure the lighting plan harmonizes with the natural environment, avoiding clashes or abrupt contrasts in color and creating a gentle visual experience. - Design Challenge
- When renovating a space that is aged over half a century into a modern commercial space, the designer faced numerous challenges. First, issues such as leaks, insufficient voltage, and chaotic plumbing required the team to implement efficient construction strategies and workflows to address the structural concerns of the site within a tight timeframe. In addition, given the variety of colors present in the products, careful planning of the display areas was essential to harmoniously integrate the diverse hues.
