About Mountain House in Mist Perpustakaan

Mountain House in Mist nyaéta imah buku pedésaan anu perenahna di hiji kampung kuno di Wuyi. Wangunan ieu ngahijikeun budaya tradisional jeung desain modéren ngaliwatan aplikasi anyar tina bahan-bahan tradisional, hateup anu ditransformasi, sarta papan polikarbonat tembus cahaya dina fasadna. Dina waktu beurang, papan-papan éta nyiptakeun suasana tembus cahaya anu lemes di jero. Dina waktu peuting, cahaya nembus ka luar sarta imah buku ieu jadi puseur visual kampung. Imah buku ieu nawarkeun tempat anu tenang pikeun maca sarta miboga tujuan pikeun mawa deui para nonoman jeung barudak balik ka pagunungan.

Unique Properties: The Mountain House in Mist combines traditional culture and modern design through new application of traditional materials, transformation of the roof, and use of translucent polycarbonate board on the façade. In the daytime, light creates a translucent atmosphere indoor, while at night, the light sneaks out and the book house becomes a visual center.The book house was built to provide a space for to read and to calm down, so as to attract more young people and children back to the mountains.

Inspiration: The book house is located in an ancient village in Wuyi and was developed by a local tourism real estate company as a part of the development and construction. Before the development, only a few elderly residents live in this empty village. It was hoped that this book house could change the situation by bringing more visitors to it.
