About Oo Desain Interior Imah

OO nyaéta hiji desain interior padumukan anu diciptakeun ngaliwatan renovasi hiji imah anu geus umur opat puluh taun. Imah tilu tingkat ieu légana 195 méter pasagi jeung ngajanggélék di hiji gang anu heureut di Kaohsiung. Fasadna miboga bukaan anu diatur dina pola siga kode sarta dieusian ku bata kaca, ku kituna cahaya beurang bisa asup bari interiorna tetep aman. Bahan-bahanna ngawengku kayu cemara Jepang, kayu solid, jeung cét karbon awi anu bébas formaldehid. Tangga ngabagi rohangan, sarta bagéan landing-na dijieun tina kaca magnétik anu ogé bisa dipaké minangka permukaan pikeun ngagambar.

Unique Properties: The building is renovated from a 40 years old house, introducing the space with an understanding of owner’s daily routine, a collection of exploratory ideas, and settlements through concepts of flow and decoration. There are three main perspectives on revamping of this residential building - prioritize daylights, select natural substances and create a smooth traffic flow.

Design Challenge: With a strong requirement of the owner, we need to find solutions of the design to make sure we can achieve the best result. Design a beauty house is the basic start of designer, but how to make a house with great functions and enough storage spaces for a family is an important issue to solve.
Research: With an architectural process named BIM (Building Information Modeling)
Inspiration: The building sits in the traditional Taiwanese residential area, the area where most of the buildings are constructed with wild window because of buildings sits side by side with only one way out; however, considered safety reason - breaking in - the entire windows are protected by iron fences, which blocked the thief but the natural lighting too. We decided to design a special façade - QR-code openings with glass brick - not only does it bring in the sunlight but resolves the safety concerns.
Project Duration: The project started in August 2018 in Kaohsiung city and finished in October 2020.
Operation Flow: Although the house located in a narrow alley, we ought to convert scarcity into opportunity. This building is organized in 3 floors, not only the stairs appear as a space divider, playing an important role, mixing and fragmenting by uses the area, but it’s landing is made from magnetic glass board, providing a drawing surface. Between the second to third floor, there are small window openings placed in different area, the owner can view though these window bricks, which give them more interaction with the family.
