About Ryo Korsi Panangan

Ryo nyaéta korsi panangan anu diwangun salaku hiji wangun anu nyambung teu pegat. Galombang-galombangna ngalir ti tempat diuk ka bagéan tonggong sarta ngabentuk hiji puteran anu teu kaganggu. Desain ieu dimimitian tina patarosan naha hiji parabot anu umum bisa nyokot wangun anu leuwih bébas. Beungeut tilu diménsi anu kompléks hésé diproduksi sarta kahontal ku cara ngagunakeun lawon élastis. Korsi panangan ieu ukuranana 725 milimeter rubakna, 730 milimeter jerona, sarta 800 milimeter jangkungna. Production Technology: Creating the shape of the tertiary surface proved extremely challenging. It was achieved by employing stretch fabric.
Design Challenge: Expressing the form of the cubic surface and realising it while utilising the engineers' skills proved extremely challenging. Through repeated discussions, we continued to seek the correct solution until completion was achieved.
Inspiration: This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the armchair in a freer form? The idea expanded from the seat to back, the undulations creates an uninterrupted loop.

Project Duration: The project started in Apr. 2020 in Tokyo and finished in Jan. 2021 in Tokyo, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2022.
Operation Flow: This unique chair, which adorns the space, envelops those who sit upon it. It promises an experience unlike any other.
