About Cloud Mountain Type Typsnittsdesign

Cloud Mountain Type är ett typsnitt inspirerat av de moln- och dimhöljda bergen i Zhang Jiajie och av klassiskt kinesiskt landskapsmåleri. Bokstavsformerna förenar traditionella kinesiska moln- och bergsmotiv med det latinska alfabetets struktur. Varje tecken är handritat och sedan förfinat med digital bildbehandlingsprogramvara, och typsnittet kan användas i varierande storlekar. Sett på mycket nära håll tar detaljerna över och bokstaven blir svår att känna igen, ungefär som ett bergs form inte kan ses från dess topp.

Combined the traditional Chinese clouds landscape with western character. The Chinese saying: You cannot recognize the shape of a mountain when you stand on it. When you stare at the details of the font, you even can’t recognize the letter itself, that is because you have already stand on the cloud-fog mountains.
