About The Soleil Building Kontor

Detta är kontorsbyggnaden för solenergiföretaget med säte i Osaka. De önskar att gestalta den dynamiska och spirituella världsbild som finns djupt i bergen genom att i staden återskapa de stora klippor som ofta ses djupt inne i de japanska bergen. Med huggen konstgjord sten och vertikala trägaller manifesterar byggnadens fasad designkonceptet "Sammansmältning av natur och konst." Fasaden med inbäddad konstgjord sten från bottenvåningen till andra våningen fortsätter till entrén där den konstgjorda klippan smälter samman med en skulptur på temat kärlek. Konst genomsyrar hela byggnaden.

Unique Properties: “Fusion of Nature and Art”
This is the office building for the solar power company based in Osaka. "Design the future with nature" is the corporate philosophy of the company and its infrastructure is designed to embody the philosophy by adhering to carbon-neutral practices, utilizing solar panels on the rooftop to power the building.
We started planning the design based on “art” in the space, and choose artificial rocks as a foundation of “art.” We wish to design the dynamic and spiritual worldview lurking deep in the mountains by recreating huge rocks which often seen deep in Japanese mountains in the city. Chiseled with artificial rocks and vertical wooden lattices, the building facade manifests the design concept "Fusion of Nature and Art." The artificial rock embedding facade of the ground floor to the 2nd floor continued to the entrance and the artificial rock merges with a sculpture on a theme of love. Art is layered throughout the whole building.

Inspiration: The inspiration came from a giant rock stately stands deep in Japanese mountain. It stands quietly but exude a quiet dignity. Since ancient times, Japanese people believed that spirits dwell in all things like woods, rocks, water and plants in the nature. We hope that the artificial rocks we design will somehow holds the spirituality from the nature.
