About Baia Nattklubb

Baia uppstod i Shibuya, centrala Tokyo, som en grotta som plötsligt dök upp i staden. Den består av 5 våningsplan; en källare, 3 våningar och en takterrass, och designkonceptet för hela anläggningen är en grotta mitt i staden. Designerna ansåg att endast en minimalistisk design kunde visualisera grottans fascinerande och exotiska atmosfär, och höll den minimalistisk genom att använda smaragdgrönt ljus och murbruk som de ansåg passade för denna moderna grotta. Ljusplaneringen med fascinerande smaragdgröna ljus gav lokalen glamour och hjälpte till att visualisera designkonceptet.

Unique Properties: “a cave within the city”
BAIA came into existence in the center of Shibuya the center of Tokyo metropolitan as a cave suddenly appeared in the city. BAIA consists of 5 floors; a basement, 3 stories and a rooftop terrace, and the design concept of entire floor is “a cave within the city.” We believed only a minimal design could visualize the fascinating and exotic atmosphere of a cave, and kept it minimal using emerald green lighting and mortar which we think suited for this modern cave. The lighting plan of fascinating emerald green lights added a glamor to the space and helped to visualize the design concept “a cave within the city.”

Inspiration: We were inspired by the fascinating and exotic atmosphere of a cave. We hope to trigger a chain reaction of positive inspirations by making an appearance of the design inspired by a cave in the very center of Tokyo.
