About Stoniture Soffa
Stoniture är en soffa inspirerad av den naturliga stenens form. Designen har en böjd kant och en bred stödyta för att ge en bekväm och avslappnad sittställning. Sittskummet anpassar sig något under belastning, så att sittytan följer kroppen. Stommen är tillverkad av trä, och sitsen innehåller skum med en densitet på 30. Soffan mäter 110 gånger 95 gånger 50 centimeter. Den enkla formen är avsedd att återspegla den naturliga stenens enkelhet och skapa en känsla av förtrogenhet. Stoniture designades i Teheran 2023.

- The furniture piece is designed with a curved edge and a proper support surface to provide a comfortable and relaxing position. The seat foam adjusts slightly when sitting, ensuring a comfortable experience for the user. The simple design of the furniture piece is meant to reflect the simplicity and beauty of natural stone.

- For designing this project, the designer do research about the properties and characteristics of natural stone and how to translate those into a functional piece of furniture. Also, he did research about different materials and production methods to ensure that the furniture piece is durable and can withstand regular use.
- Inspiration
- The designer drew inspiration from natural stone, one of the most primitive elements of nature, to create a sense of familiarity and trust at an intuitive level. The designer aimed to evoke the feeling of being surrounded by nature, where the user feels like a stone around which water flows.

- It has been designed in Tehran in 2023.
- Operation Flow
- The interaction between the natural element of stone and the function of the furniture has determined the current form. The designer aimed to create a furniture piece that feels like a part of nature, creating a unique blend of nature and functionality.
