About Tusa Hospital Sjukhusinredning

Design Challenge
One of the main challenges during the design process was accurately analyzing the patient profile and developing a concept that would respond to their needs. At the same time, it was important to communicate—through the design language—the value the hospital places on its patients and its intention to improve their comfort and the quality of service. This was achieved by creating a spatial atmosphere that expresses care and attention without overwhelming the users.
Inspiration
A clean and cosy design approach was adopted during concept process. The primary aim was to design a hospital environment where patients feel at home. In contrast to conventional hospital interiors, calming pastel tones were combined with natural materials to create a warm and soothing atmosphere while preserving a contemporary architectural language.
