Around 2,300 buildings have been benefitted from rehabilitation schemes and some 60 historical buildings have been preserved and revitalized. Their projects will be launched from time to time hence the design challenge is to design and build in equipment such that it can offer flexibility to accommodate updates, additions or alterations to the content of the projects easily and promptly without major cost implications.

A questionnaire survey is conducted via ipad for each visitor to evaluate the effectiveness of the exhibition. By statistics, there are 5,515 unguided visitors and 1,197 guided visitors while there are total 57 guided tours since the opening of UREC on 30 October 2017 to 21 February 2018. 95.8% of the respondents gave 4 or 5 for the satisfaction rate. The venue is also furnished with interactive multimedia games to add fun and allow the public to gain a deeper understanding of the topics.
