About Molten High Jengo la Makazi la Ghorofa Nyingi
Molten High ni jengo la makazi la ghorofa nyingi lililopo katika mji wenye joto na ukame nchini India ambapo ufinyanzi ulikuwa taaluma ya asili. Muundo huu unakumbusha chombo cha udongo kilichopotoshwa wakati wa kutengenezwa kisha kikachomwa. Ngozi ya kiparametriki inafunika ngazi ya kusini magharibi na kuleta mwanga uliochujwa pamoja na mzunguko wa hewa kwenye ngazi hizo, ikiunda mkinzano na mpangilio rahisi wa madirisha na balacademi. Mwonekano wa kuyeyuka wa uso wa jengo umeundwa kwa kutumia mbavu maalum za plastiki zilizosindikwa upya. Jengo hili lina vipimo vya mita 20 kwa mita 4 kwenye ramani na linafikia urefu wa mita 50.

- A parametric skin on the southwest staircase to bring in filtered light and ventilation as a contrasting character to the simple and refined array of window and balconies.

- The traditional profession of the locality was pottery which needed to be interpreted and magnified to an international podium.
- Research
- The site context was studied to come up with the concept of the design. The pottery art of this town was to be highlighted in a modern contemporary manner to communicate to the international audience.
- Inspiration
- The Residential Building is in the city of a hot and dry Tier 2 Town of India where pottery used to be a traditional profession. Molten High is an expression of a clay container being deformed while in its making and eventually baked to form an artistic expression of the traditional profession of the town.,
- Project Duration
- The project is under construction at site. The design phase started in July 2020 and was delivered by Jan 2021

- the staircase has been designed with an external skin to allow light and ventilation into the staircase.
