Kuhusu Afterimages Gazeti
Dhana ya muundo wa picha na mawasiliano ya kuona kwa jarida la sanaa la Afterimages ni thabiti: kutoka kwa nembo, utambulisho hadi mpangilio. Lengo kuu la mradi huo lilikuwa kukabiliana na urithi wa Chuo cha Sanaa cha Strzeminski huko Lodz na kuunda toleo la kisasa ambalo linatokana na mila ya avant-garde. Karatasi ya ubora mbaya, mbinu ya kuchapa kavu, rangi ya uchapishaji (Pantone) inayotumiwa kwenye kifuniko, inafanana na mada ya kila suala. Jarida linaonyeshwa kwa wingi, limejaa picha za ubora, na katika suala hili linafanana na gazeti la mtindo wa maisha.

Afterimages Gazeti ni mshindi wa Tuzo ya Fedha ya A' Design Award, utambuzi wenye heshima kubwa ya ajabu unaotolewa kwa miundo ya hali ya juu kabisa, ya kupendeza na ya kuvutia. Washindi wa Fedha ni kazi zinazong'aa mno na bunifu kupita kiasi zinazoonyesha utaalamu bora, kipaji na busara ya wabunifu wao. Afterimages Gazeti inatarajiwa kuwa kazi nzuri ya kuigwa ambayo ni ya kitaalamu kwa kiasi kikubwa na yenye ubunifu wa kina. Muundo huu ulioshinda Tuzo ya Fedha ya A' Design Award ni uvumbuzi unaojulikana sana na kupendwa, unaonufaisha na kupanua mipaka ya sanaa, sayansi, usanifu na teknolojia. Afterimages Gazeti ni kazi inayotamaniwa mno inayochochea hamu, huleta hisia chanya na huzua mshangao na mastaajabu.

- Bigger format, rough high quality paper from the 'csm' collection, dry-stamping technique, the printing color (Pantone) applied to the cover corresponds to the topic of each issue. The magazine is richly illustrated, filled with high-quality photos, and in this respect it resembles life style magazines. It is the first printed magazine published by the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and it is available not only for students and teaches, it is distributed nationwide.

- The challenge was to create a design of the magazine, on the one hand, referring to the avant-garde tradition, and on the other, creating its modern, fresh version. It was a challenge to reach interested recipients, create a platform and a community around the magazine and create a magazine with premium design, content and paper on a limited budget and with a small team.

- The artistic and scientific, thematic magazine Powidoki (Afterimages) is published by the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz (Poland). The periodical is devoted to significant artistic and scientific events. It contains critical texts about art and design as well as interviews with prominent figures of the world of culture and higher education from Poland and abroad.

- The inspiration of the project was the heritage of the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts Lodz and their great artists: Strzeminski, Kobro, Hiller, the avangarde, which was established over one hundred years ago. An afterimage is an image that continues to appear in the eyes after a period of exposure to the original image. Our brain produces it when we stare at something for a long time. This image is not as obvious as it seems at first glance. It is blurred and not clear.

- The first issue of the magazine was created and published in 2019. By mid-2021 it has been published five issues of 'Afterimages' (two issues per year). Place of the creation of the magazine: Lodz, Poland.
