About Arc Meza ya Kahawa
Arc ni meza ya kahawa iliyobuniwa kwa ajili ya nafasi za kuishi za kisasa. Arc imetengenezwa kwa mbao ya ash iliyoumbwa kwa njia ya kupinda kwa tabaka (laminated bending). Vipande vitatu vilivyopindwa vimeunganishwa ili kuunda muundo wa pembetatu wa pande tatu, wenye mviringo. Kila kipande kinaunganishwa na vingine viwili, hivyo viungo vinne vinahitajika kwenye kila kipande na kila pembe lazima ikatwe kwa usahihi. Meza hii ina upana wa sentimeta 77, kina cha sentimeta 77 na urefu wa sentimeta 48. Muundo huu ni mwepesi kwa uzito na unaweza kutumika kama samani au kuonekana kama kazi ya sanaa ya uchongaji. Arc inachota msukumo kutoka kwa usanifu wa kisasa na miundo rahisi isiyo na mapambo ya kupita kiasi.

- Unique Properties
- The ARC stripes were made and connected using laminated veneer techniques which combines three strips to form a spherical structure. Each strip has to connect with two other strips thus each strips needs to have four joints to be set precisely.Then combined joints and form a stable three-dimensional triangular body of structure. which makes the creation unique. And because of the unique shape, the Table could easily fit in contemporary, it could act as a furniture or a piece of art.

- Design Challenge
- The table has an unique structural placement which creates challenges when it’s being crafted: To form the shape and the accurate joint angle, which requires a huge amount of calculation when bending and making joint each pieces of wood, is one of the key challenges when crafting.
- Research
- This is an outstanding Table made out of hardwood with overcome various of structural challenges and woodcrafting techniques. The Table is comfortable with its own personality, unique, light in weight and with a pretty structure and appearance.
- Inspiration
- This table is inspired by ARC Guitar Stand, the first creation of ARC series which is also an original HYC creation.
ARC creation was inspired by the modern architectures and the ponderation of space design on how to composite structures that are not over-decorated and form a new pattern that is elegant and enchanted. - Project Duration
- The project started in 2021 in Taipei and completed in 2022 in Taipei.
