Kuhusu Raw Msururu wa Vikombe vya Kahawa
Raw ni msururu wa vikombe vya kahawa vya kauri unaojumuisha kikombe cha espresso, kikombe cha americano, kikombe cha latte, kikombe cha chai, na kifaa cha kuchuja kahawa (dripper). Kila kipande kimetengenezwa kwa kauri nyepesi na kina nyuso zilizochongwa zenye msukumo kutoka kwa maumbo ya makombe ya baharini na jellyfish. Uchongaji huo hupunguza uzito wa kila kipande na kufanya vishikizo kuwa rahisi zaidi kutumika kiergonomiki. Kifaa cha kuchuja kinaweza kubeba hadi gramu 24 za kahawa na kutengeneza kahawa kwa ajili ya watu wawili. Nyuso za nje zilizochongwa pia huzuia kifaa cha kuchuja kutoteleza au kuviringika kinapowekwa upande wake. Msururu huu umekusudiwa kusaidia desturi ya kutengeneza kahawa kwa njia ya kumiminia maji juu (pour-over).

- The challenge in this project was arranging the size of dripper. We analyzed the datas about Pour-Over Coffee brewing ritual and came up with the perfect dimensions. It has a chamber for brewing coffee for maximum 2 people. It can hold up to 24 grams of coffee in total. It is also a very light product with the savings in porcelain material. At the same time, drippers have a rolling problem when placed sideways on the table. We wanted to resolve this issue. Thanks to its carved outer surface, we prevented sliding and rolling movements.

- By observing the ritual of brewing coffee, we adjusted the measures that can take a measure of coffee into the drippers' chamber. We also revised our project by taking the opinions of baristas and coffee lovers. In conclusion, we designed lighter forms and came up with shell and jellyfish looking carvings on the outside of the surfaces. Which represents our passion in coffee.
