Kuhusu Reusable Kikombe Kinachokunjika
Reusable ni kikombe kinachokunjika kilichoundwa kwa ajili ya vinywaji vinavyotumiwa mbali na nyumbani. Kikombe hiki hujikunja hadi kufikia umbo dogo linaloweza kutoshea mfukoni au kwenye begi. Reusable kimetengenezwa kwa silikoni inayokidhi viwango vya usalama wa chakula na plastiki isiyo na BPA, iliyoumbwa kwa njia ya kumiminwa kwenye kalibu (injection molding). Kikombe hiki huhifadhi mililita 250 na kina upana wa milimita 87 na urefu wa milimita 122. Ili kufungua kikombe, ukingo wa juu huvutwa juu hadi ukae sawa na kufunga imara. Ili kukifunga, ukingo hushushwa chini hadi kikombe kikunjike gorofa. Reusable hutoa mbadala wa vikombe vinavyotupwa baada ya matumizi na husaidia kupunguza taka.

- The foldable cup design was achieved through iterative prototyping using CAD software. We employed injection molding for precision in mass production, utilizing food-grade silicone and BPA-free plastic to ensure safety and durability.

Creatively, we faced the obstacle of ensuring the cup could fold efficiently without compromising its structural integrity. The final concept of the foldable cup emerged as a response to countless iterations, material testing, paper prototyping, and 3D printing.

- The final concept of the foldable cup emerged as a response to countless iterations. In the process, a huge role played sculpting through various types of prototyping. Paper prototypes were used for proportion and geometry relationships, and 3D printing prototyping with soft plastics was used to test shape and thicknesses. Followed by extensive research on materials from which to manufacture.

- The idea was born in 2019, but the project commenced in January 2023 and concluded in April 2024. The design and development phases took place in Bulgaria. This timeline allowed for extensive research, prototyping, and user testing, ensuring the final product met high standards of functionality and sustainability.
