Design Challenge

To respect their habit differences, the layout deliberately demarcated into shared and exclusive areas by several opening or enclosing the sliding doors, which form is flexible and able to satisfy for variant scenarios.

Research

Aiming a interlacing physiological needs and psychological emotional appeals of each generation demographic, the design scheme maintains a throbbing full consideration in daily life, while the consideration of both old and young family members.

Inspiration

This is a 5-story townhouse, where a family of four generations lives. Aiming at interlacing every needs and emotional appeals of each generation demographic, the design scheme maintains a low profile with full consideration in daily life.

Operation Flow

To create a rhythmical surface, curves, voids, and solids were used to transform them. With the consideration of both old and young family members, arcs were used to replace right angles around.
