The Board คือสเก็ตบอร์ดพับได้ที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อความสะดวกในการพกพาและจัดเก็บ แผ่นเด็คทำจากบานพับหมุนที่เชื่อมต่อกัน 57 ชิ้น เมื่อพับบานพับไปในทิศทางใดทิศทางหนึ่ง รูปทรงครุยเซอร์แบบคลาสสิกจะแปลงเป็นวงกลมที่สมบูรณ์แบบ ในรูปทรงวงกลมนี้ The Board สามารถใส่ในกระเป๋าเป้สะพายหลัง เก็บในพื้นที่แคบ หรือจัดวางเป็นของตกแต่งภายในบ้านได้ โครงสร้างผลิตจากอะลูมิเนียม เหล็ก และพลาสติก กระบวนการแปลงรูปทรงนี้ทำให้งานออกแบบมีเสน่ห์ดึงดูดทางสายตาอย่างชัดเจน

Unique Properties: The skateboard is limited by its appearance and it is inconvenient for users to carry.
The Board has a strong visual appeal of its transforming process. The structure makes it a completed circle which can be put in a backpack easily. Because of the circular appearance, it can be part of decorations at home or even place in the narrow space.

Design Challenge: Biggest challenges was manufacturing its complex dynamic structure and is considering open-sourcing the design as a DIY kit for 3D printers.
Research: Transformation is not just the change in appearance, but also the consideration of factors such as space, time, and circumstance to strengthen the purpose of transformation and the psychological level. In today’s product design, in order to make transformable products satisfy the users’ need, the designers usually introduce the transformable features to make them easy to carry and multifunctional simultaneously.
Inspiration: Most of the users have the stereotype in the usage of the products. If we get rid of the general form changing, there will be a different scenario for the users. The form changing process gives the users visual feeling and the intensity of it will be different depend on the various structures.
Project Duration: The design start in 2018 finish in 2019 July.
Operation Flow: The skateboard is made from 57 interlocking pivot hinges, by folding the hinges one direction or the other, transforming the classic cruiser shape into a perfect circle. Easy to fit in smaller places and even used for decoration.
