The existing block is developed with a more closed character, maintains the heritage roof, and houses the main programmatic spaces; while the new block consists mostly of servicing spaces and is developed with an open character, with greater height, and with a glass roof. The floor plan maintains its original heritage and flavor with elements such as verandah, bay windows and stairs that reminds of the building's history. The annex, a gallery and multipurpose space is separated by a subtle corridor right next to the building.
