About House of the Breathing Void บ้านพักอาศัย

House of the Breathing Void คือบ้านพักอาศัยที่ออกแบบโดยจัดวางพื้นที่รอบเอเทรียมกลาง เอเทรียมนี้ทำหน้าที่เป็นช่องว่างเปิดโล่งที่อากาศและแสงหมุนเวียนได้อย่างอิสระ กลายเป็นแกนกลางด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของบ้าน นอกจากนี้เอเทรียมยังสร้างบทสนทนาที่ต่อเนื่องระหว่างพื้นที่ภายในและภายนอก บ้านหลังนี้ยึดหลักการออกแบบตามสภาพภูมิอากาศ (bioclimatic) โดยมีการวางทิศทางหันไปทางทิศใต้อย่างชัดเจนเพื่อรับแสงแดด สนับสนุนการทำความอบอุ่นแบบพาสซีฟ และส่งเสริมการระบายอากาศตามธรรมชาติ การวางทิศทางเดียวกันนี้ยังทำให้อาคารมีรูปทรงแนวทแยง ซึ่งเป็นการตอบสนองทั้งในเชิงพื้นที่และเชิงภูมิอากาศ

Unique Properties: The “House of the Breathing Void” is conceived as a sanctuary of openness, a dwelling that breathes, listens, and connects. Anchored between earth and sky, the house establishes a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior, shaped by climate, light, and Mediterranean lifestyle. At its center lies an atrium, the open heart of the home, where air, light, and life circulate freely, forming both the emotional and environmental core.
Inspiration: The Atrium was the concept inspiration of the project. The house was conceived through bioclimatic principles, its geometry shaped by a clear southern orientation that captures sunlight, enhances passive heating, and invites natural ventilation. From this dual idea, the atrium and the orientation toward the sun, a diagonal gesture arose in the building’s form, a spatial and climatic response that defines its identity. Here, light becomes both material and structure, carving paths through the interior.
