ኣህጉራዊ ማእከል ስፖርትን ባህልን ኣብ ሓደ ቦታ ስፖርታዊ፡ ባህላውን ማሕበራውን ትካላት ዘጣመረ ብዙሕ-ኣጠቓቕማ ዘለዎ ህንጻ እዩ። እቲ ህንጻ ናብ ሰለስተ ቀንዲ ክፋላት ተኸፊሉ ኣሎ፦ ናይ ቤት-ጽሕፈት ከባቢ፡ መድረኽ ወይ ኣረና፡ ከምኡ'ውን ብዙሕ-ተግባራዊ ቦታ። ሓደ ተንጠልጣሊ ናይ ትራስ ስርዓት ብዘይ ዓንዲ ዝኾነ ውሽጣዊ ክፍልታት ስለ ዝፈጥር፡ ነፍሲ-ወከፍ ቦታ ብዓቢ ተዓጻጻፍነት ክዳሎ ይኽእል። እቶም ተግባራት ንጽቡቕ ከተማዊ ቦታ ንኽሰማምዑ ብትኹል ተደራርዮም ኣለዉ። ሞያዊ ቦታታት ውድድራትን ምርኢታትን የአንግዱ፡ ጀርዲንን ናይ ጉያ መስመርን ከኣ ናይ መዘናግዒ ቦታ ብምሃብ ኣብ መንጎ ዜጋታት ማሕበራዊ ምትሕውዋስ የተባብዑ።

- The Center will be the landmark integrating sports, culture and social facilities. It is divided into three main parts: Office, Arena and Multifunctional space. Different venues have different spatial requirements, a column-free space with hanging truss system will provide great flexibility on spatial arrangement. The Center not only will provide professional venues for competitions and exhibitions but also will provide gardens and running track for leisure activities for citizens.

- Client requires designated social activities combined as One Hub in a limited site area. At the same time, sports venue standard should also be met in order to hold professional competitions.

- By looking back at the contemporary cultural and sports facility development in Shenzhen, there were two waves in the city’s history. They were in the 1980s and 2000s. With the development of the time, the design of the venues has become larger and the use of functions has become more comprehensive.

- Since Shenzhen is the most rapidly urbanized and developed city in China, traditional sports or culture centers with individual functions will not fit this compact urban context. With the site limitation, functions and spaces are vertically stacked up creating a new type of Vertical Sports-Culture Mix. A series of public spaces are blended in to the functional area to encourage social interaction.
