Book Text: ኢንተርሉድ ውሽጣዊ ንድፊ ናይ ሓደ ዝተሓደሰ ኣፓርትመንት ኣብ ታይዋን እዩ። እቲ ኣፓርትመንት ዕድመኡ 19 ዓመት ኮይኑ፡ 122.3 ትርብዒት ሜትሮ ስፍሓት ኣለዎ። ስርዓተ ትርኢቱ ብመሰረት ኣምር ናይ ስፔስ ካፕስል ዳግማይ ተሰሪዑ፡ ጥምዘዝቲ መስመራት ከኣ ንነፍሲ ወከፍ ክፋል ቅርጺ ይህብዎ። ናይ ብርጭቆ መንደቕ-ኽፍልታት ገለ ክፍልታት ብምትሕሓዝ ናይ ምዕጻው ስምዒት ንኸይህሉ ይከላኸሉ፣ ብተወሳኺ ብርሃን ጸሓይ ንኽላገብ ይሕግዙ። እዚ ገዛ ንኽልተ ካብ ገዛ ዝሰርሑ ነበርቲን ንሰለስተ ድሙታትን የገልግል። ሓደ ናይ ኣጋይሽ ክፍሊ ምሕጻብ ናብ ንእሽተይ ቤት-ጽርባት ብናይ ሞሮኮ ወለል ንጣል ተቐይሩ፡ እቲ ዝተለቀ ቦታ ድማ ንሳጹን ጎሓፍ ድሙታት ዝኸውን ክፍሊ ኮይኑ። ትርኢት ናይ መስኮት ድማ ንድሙታት ተሓልዩ ተሪፉ።

- Unique Properties
- The project focuses on the needs of people and the lifestyle of pet cats. The designer simplifies the original guest bathroom into a restroom with beautiful North African Moroccan floor tiles, and the extra space became a bathroom for the cats (where the cat litter box is placed). The master bedroom is reduced in size to allow for a wider bathroom space to accommodate a bathtub and double sinks. Moreover, the designer separates the original piano room into a yoga room and a reading room, and the small part of the space freed up is combined with the entrance to create a shoe closet and a storage room.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The designer updates the layout of the old apartment and recreated a smooth and elegant route with modern curved lines. Different from the stiffness of the conventional layout, the renovation forms a bright atmosphere in the space.

- Curved woodwork partition, hand-painted art paint, base paint, various tiles, ironwork, glass partition, baking glass, water ripple patterned glass, Italian quartz stone center island countertop, and granite sink.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge of the project is to create a diverse look with the concept of a space capsule. To avoid the feeling of confinement caused by the shape of the capsule, some of the compartments are connected by the glass. With the flow of light, the atmosphere becomes warmer and more harmonious.
- Research
- The project is a 19-year-old pre-owned apartment with 122.3 square meters, with four rooms, a living room, a dining room, and two bathrooms. The designer replans the layout, taking the concept of a space capsule, and uses curved lines to outline the areas to create a new look for the old apartment.
- Inspiration
- Sincere and strong love form a home that is close to each other. The designer takes the space capsule as the concept, turning the love of the couple into soft curved lines to outline a warm pattern with blue, white, and silver. The bold and bright tiles bring the space vibrantly and create a delicate rhythm of the home. Entering this home is like a dance for two with elegant steps, sounding like an interlude of love belonging to the couple.
- Project Duration
- The project finished in November 2021 in Taiwan.
- Operation Flow
- The project serves 2 people and 3 cats. Both clients are home-based workers, so the designer creates their own work space and left the best window view for the cats in every corner of the home. Behind the sofa is a dark wood dining table that can be adjusted to a round or semi-circular shape to serve as a dining area and a work area for the hostess.
