Its dual-lighting system sets it apart from conventional designs, providing both floral display illumination and ambient lighting for comfortable reading. The lamp’s ability to serve as a sophisticated platform for floral arrangements makes it a truly unique product in the market.
ዓቐንን ማዕሸግን: The floor lamp measures 1250 mm in height with a 280 mm diameter ring. The construction features a glass vase equipped with frosted coating on the bottom, complemented by a robust metal framework and a stable marble base. The lighting system incorporates two light sources fitted with matte diffusers, ensuring uniform illumination while maintaining the design’s technical functionality.

ናይ ምፍራይ ቴክኖሎጂ: Inspired by the ancient Japanese art of ikebana, this innovative floor lamp represents a unique fusion of traditional floral arrangement and contemporary design. Its distinctive feature is a dual-lighting system: an upper light accentuates floral compositions, while a lower light creates a cozy atmosphere for reading. The lamp’s innovative design, which combines functionality with artistic expression, fills a gap in the market by offering a sophisticated platform for displaying floral arrangements in modern interiors.
ናይ ዲዛይን ብድሆ: The designer came up with the idea for the floor lamp-vase while thinking about moving to a new apartment with not much space. Since they really like having fresh flowers at home, they wanted to find a way to combine a lamp and a vase into one thing. It was a practical solution to save space while still being able to enjoy beautiful floral arrangements. The result is a useful and convenient piece of furniture that does two jobs at once.
ምርምር: The primary research objective was to develop a design that seamlessly combines the functions of a floor lamp and a vase. The key challenge was to create a stable yet easily removable vase design while ensuring proper illumination for both floral arrangements and the workspace below. To achieve this goal, dozens of sketches and structural designs were developed. Extensive market research of vases and flowers was conducted to determine the optimal size parameters. Multiple stability tests were performed, leading to adjustments of the original base specifications to ensure both functionality and safety.
ምንጪ ሓሳብ: Drawing inspiration from the ancient Japanese art of ikebana — meaning life of flowers — the design embodies the essence of this refined art form. By blending traditional floral arrangement principles with modern interior aesthetics, the creator has successfully transformed the concept of a conventional lamp into a versatile platform for showcasing nature’s beauty. This fusion of Eastern philosophy and contemporary design creates a harmonious balance between art and functionality.
ናይ ፕሮጀክት ግዜ: The project started in January 2025 in Moscow and finished in September 2025 in Moscow, and was exhibited in Interlight in October 2025.
