About Irises Singsing

Ang Irises ay isang double ring na inspirasyon ng pintura ni Vincent van Gogh. Ipinapakita ng pintura ang mga asul na bulaklak na may mahahaba, tabak-hugis na mga dahon. Sa singsing, ang mga bulaklak ay kinatawan ng blue sapphire at London at sky topaz, samantalang ang inukit na ginto ay bumubuo sa mga dahong parang gumagalaw. Ang singsing ay gawa sa 18 karat na ginto, ginawa nang de-kamay, may matte finish at prong settings. Magaan at komportableng isuot ang piyesa. Layunin nitong dalhin ang mga kulay at anyo ng kalikasan at pagpipinta tungo sa isang bagay na maaaring isuot.

Unique Properties: Van Gogh’s irises have blue flowers with sword shaped leaves that are long and laminar. The flowers are represented in this double ring by sapphires and topazes while the sculptured gold conveys the leaves in their movement. The double ring is both comfortable and stunning!

Handmade, matte finish and prong setting
Design Challenge: During the search for the idealized materials, some types of gemstones were not located and some cut formats were unavailable. The acquisition of gemstones in other formats and types was carried out and a new design was performed adapting to the materials found.
Research: After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
