About Aqua Spa Ang Hotel

May inspirasyon ng ideya ng pamumuhay sa cabin; napapaligiran ng magandang tunog ng Inang Kalikasan. Ang espasyo ay nilikha na may ginhawa sa isip. Ang mga madilim na kulay ay ginamit upang gayahin ang natural na kulay ng kalikasan habang ang mga elementong kahoy ay upang i-insulate ang espasyo mula sa lamig, na nagbibigay sa espasyo ng init na may kaaya-ayang kayamanan ng Inang Kalikasan. Ang mga pulang brick at leather ay idinagdag din sa halo upang bigyang-daan ang cabin na lumiwanag habang nagpapakasawa sa mga kalakal na ibinigay ng lounge. Isang lugar na akma upang mag-host ng sinumang ginang at ginoo.

Ang Aqua Spa Ang Hotel ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bronse, isang lubhang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga natatanging disenyong nakikilala sa pagkamalikhain, katalinuhan at talas ng isip. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bronse ay mga likhang lubhang mahusay at kapansin-pansing malikhain na nagpapatunay sa malawak na karanasan, imahinasyon at pagkamaparaan ng kanilang mga tagapagdisenyo. Inaasahang ang Aqua Spa Ang Hotel ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na bagay na kapansin-pansing propesyonal at makabago. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bronse ay nagsasama ng pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan sa sining, agham, disenyo at teknolohiya, at mahusay dahil sa pansin nito sa detalye. Ang Aqua Spa Ang Hotel ay kahanga-hangang tumutugon sa mga pangangailangan, humahaplos sa mga hangarin, bumibighani sa damdamin at umaakit sa pag-uusisa.

Unique Properties: Strategically positioned lighting elements that draw attention to these spaces in just the right way by revealing the rugged surfaces of the stone-covered walls and the way the flecked gold wallpaper changes color depending on the viewing angle. Another design element that is sure to catch one's eye is the metal geometric gradation pattern that covers a large area of the premises and makes it easy to visually distinguish it from the other parts of the spa center.
Dimensions & Packaging: The commercial interior consist of approximately 42,160sqft, located in Bukit Mertajam, Malaysia.

Production Technology: The design is to recreate a place where one can have a sense of being transported back in time to enjoy the serenity and tranquil of a simpler life with the benefit of advanced technology. The richness of textures and materials used are heavily prioritized to enable the design to match perfectly with one another while, contrasting decors which blends in well with the interior were also used to add in interest and to bring out the uniqueness of the spa.
Design Challenge: Due to the geographical location of Malaysia, many materials were source from other countries in order to get the ambiance and the authenticity of what to be presented in the interior.
Research: There has been an extensive research on luxury spas when designing as we wanted to capture the experience of fully immersing oneself to enjoy and relax. The whole process was tedious as we needed to be able to extract samples of materials used as the hues are so similar that it will only be differentiated through textures. Besides experimenting with different textures, we experimented with different types of lighting and ways to place it in order to create a certain temperament and the results were stunning, comfortable and yet classy for many to enjoy and unwind.
Inspiration: Inspired by the common yearning among people today for a return to a time where life was so much simpler. An Oriental themed interior was carefully curated to provide the space with ampule of peace and serenity. The aim was to provide an atmosphere that is not only pleasing to the eye but evokes emotional comfort that one would bring home to heart.
Project Duration: The project started in November 2015 and finished in January 2018 in Bukit Mertajam, Malaysia.
Operation Flow: The Aqua spa caters to an exquisite lifestyle and luxury indulgence to the surrounding community which includes a tea and chess room, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, pool, buffet, VIP lounge and etc.
Greeted with an Oriental themed interior, one would find the space beautifully planned with much activities to explore, paired with just the right amount of feature highlights. Contrasting the dark spaces for relaxation, to the light spaces for activities while playing with textured wallpaper and blending it with natural stone finishes to create visual interest.
