Ang RareMe ay isang mobile application para sa mga taong apektado ng mga bihirang sakit. Ikinokonekta ng RareMe ang mga pasyente at ang kanilang mga pamilya sa mga ospital, institusyong medikal, botika, doktor, at mga developer ng gamot. Pipili ang mga user ng kanilang tungkulin bilang pasyente, miyembro ng pamilya, o health-care provider habang nagpaparehistro. Maaaring magsulat ang mga pasyente ng diary tungkol sa kanilang paggamot, maghanap ng mga gamot at paraan ng paggamot sa buong mundo, at makahanap ng ibang mga user na may kaparehong kondisyon sa pamamagitan ng isang recommendation algorithm. RareMe helps rare diseases patients with their recovery and therapy. By connecting with global medical research, institutions, hospitals, doctors, and drug developers, they can receive equal attention and care.

Pananaliksik: Rare diseases are currently affecting 3.5% - 5.9% of the worldwide population. There are more than 7,000 rare diseases known in the world, however, only less than 10% of the diseases have approved treatment drugs or programs.

Based on this huge social problem, we have conducted extensive interviews with medical professors of Harvard University and Medical Laboratory of Zhejiang University, and are eager to connect rare disease patients around the world in a simple and portable way. We have connected many medical workers and patients via the development of RareMe. In order to improve this current condition, we will add in more and more health-care providers in the future.

Tagal ng Proyekto: This project started in September 2019 in Hangzhou, China, and it is still under developing.
Daloy ng Operasyon: At the beginning of registration, user will choose their own role as patients/family members or health-care providers, then enter the home page. Patients can write disease fighting diaries, seek for other users who have similar syndromes and fight together. They can also seek drugs and treatments around the world. As for health-care providers, they can contact patients quickly via RareMe and offer help.
