About Molten High Multi Storey na Gusaling Paninirahan

Ang Molten High ay isang multi storey na gusaling paninirahan na matatagpuan sa isang mainit at tuyong bayan sa India kung saan ang paggawa ng palayok ay isang tradisyonal na hanapbuhay. Ang disenyo ay gunita sa isang lalagyang luwad na nabaluktot habang ginagawa at pagkatapos ay inihurno. Ang isang parametric na balat ang bumabalot sa hagdanang nasa timog-kanluran at nagdadala ng sinalang ilaw at bentilasyon sa mga hagdan, na bumubuo ng kontrast sa simpleng hanay ng mga bintana at balkonahe. Ang natunaw na anyo ng facade ay nalikha gamit ang custom made na mga tadyang na gawa sa recycled na plastik. Ang gusali ay may sukat na 20 by 4 metro sa plano at umaabot sa taas na 50 metro.

Unique Properties: A parametric skin on the southwest staircase to bring in filtered light and ventilation as a contrasting character to the simple and refined array of window and balconies.

Production Technology: Custom made Recycled plastic ribs to for the molten look of the facade.
Design Challenge: The traditional profession of the locality was pottery which needed to be interpreted and magnified to an international podium.
Research: The site context was studied to come up with the concept of the design. The pottery art of this town was to be highlighted in a modern contemporary manner to communicate to the international audience.
Inspiration: The Residential Building is in the city of a hot and dry Tier 2 Town of India where pottery used to be a traditional profession. Molten High is an expression of a clay container being deformed while in its making and eventually baked to form an artistic expression of the traditional profession of the town.,
Project Duration: The project is under construction at site. The design phase started in July 2020 and was delivered by Jan 2021
Operation Flow: the staircase has been designed with an external skin to allow light and ventilation into the staircase.
