Tungkol sa Monolithic House Pribadong Villa

Ang Monolithic House ay isang pribadong villa sa Jeddah. Ang gusali ay binubuo ng tatlong pangunahing masa na inilipat upang lumikha ng mga panlabas na patyo, alinsunod sa pagkakaayos ng mga tradisyonal na bahay na Arabe. Ang envelope ay gumagamit ng mga semi-transparent na screen na may lumang Saudi pattern na hango sa Mashrabiya. Ang isang motorized na sistemang nabubuksan ay nagreregula ng sikat ng araw, nagbibigay ng lilim at privacy sa timog na facade, at nagpapahintulot ng natural na bentilasyon. Ang istruktura ay kongkreto, na tinapos ng honed travertine na bato, itim na bakal, stucco at kahoy na walnut. May magkakahiwalay na pasukan para sa pamilya, mga bisita at mga serbisyo.

Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Ginto ay isang kahanga-hanga at iginagalang na proyekto na lubos na nakikinabang at nagpapaunlad sa mga hangganan ng sining, agham, disenyo at teknolohiya. Ang Monolithic House Pribadong Villa ay lumilikha ng matinding damdamin ng pagnanais, gumigising ng damdamin, nagpapasigla ng pagkamalikhain at nakahuhumaling sa atin.

Mga Natatanging Katangian: Conceptual idea was to explore the architecture relation between indoor and outdoor spaces, through a composition of three main masses that were shifted to create external courts inspired from Arabic traditional houses. The house envelope was designed using semi-transparent screens, with old Saudi pattern that was inspired by (Mashrabiya), that have been used to give a dynamic visual interaction, guaranteeing privacy and shading on the south facade, and regulating the entry of sunlight by motorized openable system, while always allowing natural ventilation.

Hamon sa Disenyo: -To create a quality living experience and redefine the image of a residential building in Jeddah while maintaining the climate requirements and privacy needs dictated by the Arab culture, were the main design challenges. -The client requested several separate entrances for gender segregation. -Based on the data collection the Architectural design direction is a mixture of Resort/Luxury design with traditional accents using natural materials. -Height limitation, Setbacks & maximum Built up area was dictated by Saudi Architecture Regulations.
