Tungkol sa Nha Nhim Homestay

Ang Nha Nhim ay isang gusaling homestay sa Da Lat, Vietnam. Ang makitid na lote ay mga 8 metro ang lapad at mas mahaba pa, na may hindi pantay na lupain at mahinang lupa. Itinaas ang lahat ng elemento upang palawakin ang living space at buksan ang tanawin patungo sa lambak. Kinolekta at muling ginamit ang mga tirang materyales mula sa lugar sa buong gusali. Binigyan ng bagong buhay ang balat ng puno, sanga, at mga test concrete block, samantalang ang mga labi mula sa mga lokal na pabrika ng tela ay na-recycle at ginamit sa iba't ibang bahagi. Ang malaking pahilis na bubong ay humaharang sa malamig na hangin tuwing gabi habang pinapayagan naman ang paglipas ng malamig na simoy ng hangin sa araw.

Ang mga nagwagi ng Bronse ay mga likhang lubhang mahusay at kapansin-pansing malikhain na nagpapatunay sa malawak na karanasan, imahinasyon at pagkamaparaan ng kanilang mga tagapagdisenyo. Inaasahang ang Nha Nhim Homestay ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na bagay na kapansin-pansing propesyonal at makabago. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bronse ay nagsasama ng pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan sa sining, agham, disenyo at teknolohiya, at mahusay dahil sa pansin nito sa detalye. Ang Nha Nhim Homestay ay kahanga-hangang tumutugon sa mga pangangailangan, humahaplos sa mga hangarin, bumibighani sa damdamin at umaakit sa pag-uusisa.

Mga Natatanging Katangian: Nha Nhim Homestay was built in Da Lat City. It was located on a slope of a mountainous area with deserted scenery from the surrounding neighborhood. This project was a story of giving so-called “garbages” a second chance. An architect’s adventure of creating something meaningful from trash.

Teknolohiya sa Produksyon: Barks, branches, test concrete blocks were the materials that we gave them a new life in this project.
Hamon sa Disenyo: The site challenged the architects with its narrow and prolonging parameters, where the length significantly overshadowed the 8-meter width. The terrain is extremely bad with undulating, uneven terrain, weak soil, which can cause landslides.
Pananaliksik: Although we exploited a lot of things inside, we still kept the harmony with the context by using the traditional materials. Instead of neighboring buildings, Nha Nhim Homestay was lifted entire all of the elements to solve the problems such as: expanded the living space, created green space and circulation space for the narrow area. It also opened the view to the valley, not prevented by near buildings.
Inspirasyon: During the field trips to Dalat, we had to drive around to listen to local stories and what the local resource offered us. We found so much potential in waste materials from the area. Therefore we decided to collect and upcycle them. For instance, waste materials from local textile factories were classified and recycled into different parts. External wood cells were reused in ceiling modules and fences were made of tree branches.
Tagal ng Proyekto: The project started construction & operation in 2017 in Da Lat, Viet Nam
Daloy ng Operasyon: The purpose of the project was a building not only stay but also business. The project included the main house and additional tubins. One of the most difficult we have to solve was the weather which was really cold in Da Lat. We created a big slope roof to avoid cold wind in the night but still received cool breezes in hot weather during the day. Moreover, we divided the project into several small elements to have good ventilation, natural sun light, reducing the use of artificial energy, causing harm to the environment.
