About Infinity Instalasyong Sining

Ang Infinity ay isang nakabiting instalasyong gawa sa kahoy na nilikha para sa loob ng isang tindahan ng muwebles. Ang obra ay gawa sa mga pinindot na wood veneer na hinubog sa dalawang pangunahing hugis, na inulit nang maraming beses sa iba't ibang oryentasyon. Pinag-uugnay ng mga tumpak na geometrikong dugtungan ang mga piraso upang mabuo ang isang tuloy-tuloy at dumadaloy na linya. Ang bawat pinindot na piraso ay 1 metro ang haba at 6 mm ang kapal. Nakasabit ang Infinity mula sa kisame gamit ang mga metal na alambre na 1 mm ang kapal, 4 na metro ang taas mula sa sahig, at sumasaklaw sa lugar na humigit-kumulang 4 na metro ang lapad at 10.5 metro ang haba. Isang modelong gawa sa kamay ang isinailalim sa 3D scanning, at ang molde ay giniling gamit ang CNC.

Ang mga nagwagi ng Ginto ay mga likhang lubhang makabago, may pananaw at nakasisilaw sa karilagan na sumasalamin sa talino, karunungan at husay ng kanilang mga tagapagdisenyo. Inaasahang ang Infinity Instalasyong Sining ay isang lubos na pinupuri, nagtatakda-ng-uso at monumental na imbensyon na naghahatid ng walang kapantay na halaga. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Ginto ay isang kahanga-hanga at iginagalang na proyekto na lubos na nakikinabang at nagpapaunlad sa mga hangganan ng sining, agham, disenyo at teknolohiya. Ang Infinity Instalasyong Sining ay lumilikha ng matinding damdamin ng pagnanais, gumigising ng damdamin, nagpapasigla ng pagkamalikhain at nakahuhumaling sa atin.

Unique Properties: Wooden wall panels come alive and wander off around the interior space. Precise geometrical joints create a fluid continuous form out of numerous pieces of pressed bent wood.
The entire element, made of only two different basic shapes attached together multiple times in several orientations, comes together to create an organic-like natural fluid line.
Suspended from the ceiling using 1 mm thin metal wires, the wooden surface floats as far as 10.5 meters away from the wall.
Dimensions & Packaging: Infinity is suspended 4 meters off the floor and covers an area that is roughly 4 meters wide and 10.5 meters long.
Each single pressed wooden piece is 1 meter long and 6 mm thick.

Production Technology: Infinity is made of pressed wood veneers. In order to design this organic flow curve, a physical model was hand made and then 3D scanned to create a file base for us to work on thus maintaining a handcrafted feel to the object.
After CNC milling the mold, thin wood veneers layered with glue were pressed against each other to create the "building blocks" that later formed the object.
Inspiration: Confetti paper rolls throne in the air creating an infinite airborne doodle in mid flight was the idea that we wanted to recreate.
We know that for many, this project resembles a ribbon gymnast dance frozen inmid air.
The use of pressed wood creates a contrast between the dynamic soft shape and the clean elegance historically embedded in the material.
Project Duration: The project was designed and built February - April 2021. Designed for a furniture shop's interior design.
Operation Flow: Walking around and underneath Infinity, you feel drawn into the tangled
wooden curve. The object feels as if it is in continuous motion.
