About Sama Music Pavilion

Ang Sama ay isang pavilion na idinisenyo para sa street music performance. Ang hugis at mga materyales ng Sama ay nagpapabuti sa kalidad ng akustika at pantay na kumakalat ang tunog, iniiwasan ang iisang punto ng pokus. Ang istruktura ay gawa sa metal frame na pinunan ng eco-brick material, na binalutan sa loob at labas ng micro-cement coating. Ang mga solar cell sa panlabas na layer ang nagbibigay ng enerhiyang kailangan para sa ilaw at kagamitang elektrikal. Ang pavilion ay nagsisilbing kanlungan para sa mga musikero at instrumento sa iba't ibang kondisyon ng panahon. Ang Sama ay may sukat na 15 by 15 by 6 metro at maaaring itayo sa iba't ibang lokasyon.

Ang Sama Music Pavilion ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bronse, isang lubhang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga natatanging disenyong nakikilala sa pagkamalikhain, katalinuhan at talas ng isip. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bronse ay mga likhang lubhang mahusay at kapansin-pansing malikhain na nagpapatunay sa malawak na karanasan, imahinasyon at pagkamaparaan ng kanilang mga tagapagdisenyo. Inaasahang ang Sama Music Pavilion ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na bagay na kapansin-pansing propesyonal at makabago. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bronse ay nagsasama ng pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan sa sining, agham, disenyo at teknolohiya, at mahusay dahil sa pansin nito sa detalye. Ang Sama Music Pavilion ay kahanga-hangang tumutugon sa mga pangangailangan, humahaplos sa mga hangarin, bumibighani sa damdamin at umaakit sa pag-uusisa.

Unique Properties: Sama is a space for performing street music. In terms of material and form, it's designed to increase acoustic quality and proper performance in different weather conditions. with its special form, Sama prevents the focus of sound and causes the integrated play of sound, and provides a suitable space for musicians and listeners of street music.

Production Technology: Samas structural system consists of a metal frame filled with eco-brick material.

The outer layer also consists of solar cells that provide the energy needed for electrical and lighting equipment.
Design Challenge: Sama is not an architectural building on a specific land, but a public pavilion that should be able to be built in different places. This was the biggest design challenge. The design team's response to this challenge was Sama's adaptive design. The use of economical and light materials was also helpful in this regard.
Research: Examining the needs of street musicians and the existence of many problems with the sound quality during the performance, we began to search for a solution to this problem in the field of acoustics.
The parameters involved in acoustics, should be designed according to Sama's performance.
Formal research was started on the dome of Iran's historic mosques, and according to Sama's different acoustic needs, the form was designed with many changes in that form to avoid creating a focal sound.
Inspiration: The project is inspired by the costume of a Sama dancer. Sama is an ancient dance that is one of the oldest dances
In Iranian culture, it is mostly formed in group ceremonies and is accompanied by instruments, songs, and dances.
We designed Sama to solve the problems of street musicians and respect the street music inspired by Sama dance.

Project Duration: The design phase of the project began in 2021. The project was designed to build in different places. It is flexible enough to adopt different spots.
Operation Flow: Sama is connected to a music streaming platform. Artists can connect to this platform by being inside Sama.
