Tungkol sa Quattro Panloob na Matalinong Hardin
Ang Quattro ay isang panloob na matalinong hardin para sa pagtatanim sa bahay. Ang disenyo ay may tatlong bahagi: isang binerniang seramikong base ng tubig, apat na hindi binerniang paso na terracotta, at isang ilawang pantanim na nakakabit sa isang balangkas na metal. Dahan-dahang dumadaloy ang tubig sa mikro-porosong terracotta, kaya ang mga ugat ay kumukuha lamang ng dami ng tubig na kanilang kailangan. Sinusunod ng pamamaraang ito ang olla, isang sinaunang teknik sa irigasyon, na nagbibigay-daan sa awtonomiya ng tubig nang hanggang dalawang linggo. Gumagamit ang ilaw ng mga horticultural na light emitting diode (LED) na may timer na naka-set sa labindalawang oras na bukas at labindalawang oras na sarado. Ang hugis nito ay inspirado ng mga saradong hardin ng mga medieval na kumbento.

We use an ancestral and very effective and 100% natural irrigation system, the “OLLA”. The oldest known traces were found in China 4,000 years ago. Ancient Rome also used this technique. Thanks to the use of micro-porous terracotta, the roots draw the quantity of water necessary for their needs. In this way, the water shock is avoided and plant growth is harmonious. - Quattro is composed by three parts: the glazed ceramic container for water, four unglazed terracotta vases and the grow lamp. The investigation done around terracotta with the right ratio between dimensions and porosity, allowed to obtain the best natural system for growing plants at home.

- The design is inspired by the hortus conclusus, a feature from medieval cloisters.
