About Fresh Mobile Application

Ang Fresh ay isang mobile application na idinisenyo upang mabawasan ang pag-aaksaya ng pagkain sa tahanan. Nag-iiskan ang Fresh sa mga listahan ng pinamili sa supermarket upang itala ang mga binili na pagkain, at maidaragdag ng mga user ang mga item sa isang virtual na pahina ng refrigerator. Ginagawang subaybayan ng application ang shelf life ng bawat item at minamarkahan ang mga produkto ng berde, dilaw, at pulang prompt box ayon sa natitirang antas ng kasariwaan. Tumutulong ang mga paalala upang maubos ng mga user ang pagkain bago ito masira. Nagbibigay din ang Fresh ng lingguhang ulat sa pag-aaksaya ng pagkain at kumulatibong estadistika na naghihikayat ng sustenableng pagkonsumo. Available ang application para sa iOS at Android.

Ang Fresh Mobile Application ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal, isang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga mahuhusay na disenyong tumutugon sa mga propesyonal at pang-industriyang kinakailangang inaasahan sa mga mahusay na pagkakadisenyong likha. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bakal ay nagpapakita ng dakilang husay, mataas na espesyalisasyon, dalubhasang pag-unawa at kakayahang malikhain ng kanilang mga lumikha. Inaasahang ang Fresh Mobile Application ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na likhang praktikal at makabago. Unique Properties: Due to the current situation of food discarding caused by overbuying and leaving in the refrigerator, this app was designed. The app will record the shelf life of food and distinguish the food with different shelf life in the refrigerator through green, yellow and red prompt boxes to avoid food discarding. In addition, the app provides weekly wasted food reports and cumulative statistics to educate users about sustainable consumption and reducing food discarding.

Production Technology: People can use this app to scan supermarket shopping lists to get food purchase records and add food to the app. App will track the shelf life of food and remind people to avoid aliment wasting. In addition, the application also provides weekly waste food reports and cumulative statistics to educate users on sustainable consumption and reduce aliment discarding.
Design Challenge: When this app is fully technically feasible, the only challenge is how to call on more people to use this app. We use visual graphics with a sense of design and differentiated prompt boxes to remind users. To be sure, the more people use this app, the less food will be wasted.
Research: With the development of material conditions, people used to overbuying food and forget the them in the refrigerator, resulting in a huge discarding of food. Based on this huge social problem, several extensive interviews was conducted with Chinese community residents, surveying their shopping and food storage in their refrigerators. After many discussions and user interviews with students majoring in design at Zhejiang University, the app was finally designed to skillfully educate users about sustainable consumption and reducing food discarding.
Inspiration: It is estimated that a third of all food produced each year, equivalent to 1.3 billion tons of food worth about 1 trillion U.S. dollars, ends up rotting in consumer and retailer trash bins or spoiled by improper transportation and harvesting.Sadly, people get in the habit of buying too much aliment, or forgetting to eat it before its sell-by date, leading to huge aliment discarding.
Project Duration: This project started in January 2022 in Hangzhou, China, and it is still under developing.
Operation Flow: First, scan the supermarket shopping list with the app, and the screen will get the purchased food. Users can drag specific foods to the "my fridge" page. App will actually record the shelf life of food and distinguish the different shelf life of food in the refrigerator through green, yellow and red prompt boxes to remind to avoid wasting. In addition, the application also provides weekly waste food reports and cumulative waste food statistics to educate users on sustainable consumption and reduce aliment waste.
