About Almana Ospital

Ang disenyo ay naglalayong bawasan ang mga pasyente' pagkabalisa at stress, pabilisin ang paggaling, paikliin ang mga pag-ospital, bawasan ang paggamit ng gamot, bawasan ang sakit, at itaguyod ang isang pakiramdam ng kagalingan sa pamamagitan ng paglikha ng isang mahusay na dinisenyong kapaligiran sa pagpapagaling. Ang mga espasyo ay idinisenyo upang maging nurturing at therapeutic. Sa antas ng organisasyon, ang disenyo ay nakakatulong upang mapahusay ang kasiyahan ng kawani, pagiging produktibo at pagpapanatili. Ang anyo ng gusali ay nagbibigay-daan para sa natural na daloy ng espasyo, hangin at liwanag. Pinagsasama ng disenyo ang mga advanced na kasanayan para sa pag-iilaw, day lighting, HVAC at mga water treatment system na gumagamit ng mas kaunting enerhiya.

Ang Almana Ospital ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal, isang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga mahuhusay na disenyong tumutugon sa mga propesyonal at pang-industriyang kinakailangang inaasahan sa mga mahusay na pagkakadisenyong likha. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bakal ay nagpapakita ng dakilang husay, mataas na espesyalisasyon, dalubhasang pag-unawa at kakayahang malikhain ng kanilang mga lumikha. Inaasahang ang Almana Ospital ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na likhang praktikal at makabago. Unique Properties: Well-designed healthcare environments can reduce patients’ anxiety and stress, accelerate recovery, shorten hospitalizations, reduce medication use, lessen pain, and promote a sense of well-being. On the organizational level, therapeutic environments can help enhancing staff recruitment, satisfaction, productivity and retention.

Production Technology: The design was based on natural light and natural materials.
High performance glazing system was chosen for elevations and skylight to get the most healthy use of daylight. Terracotta tiles was chosen for exterior cladding.
Design Challenge: The real challenge was how to adapt the design to create a healing environment that in turn reduces patients' anxiety and stress, speeds recovery, shortens hospitalization, reduces medication use, reduces pain, and promotes well-being. At the organizational level, healing environments can help enhance employee recruitment, satisfaction, productivity, and retention.

Inspiration: The concept to create healing environment to engage patients in the conscious process of self-healing and spiritual growth. Spaces are designed to be nurturing and therapeutic and, most important, to reduce stress. The design creates a clear separation of zones of activities, with departments and functions located based on access point proximity, flow and way-finding. All clinics and staff spaces provide access to outside views and landscaped terraces.

Location: South Rakah, Eastern Region, KSA
Operation Flow: The design creates a clear separation of zones of activities, with departments and functions located based on access point proximity, flow and way-finding. Design of building is modular so there is ease of understanding, movement and fining the required section.
