About Ceremony Silyang Walang Sandalan

Ang Ceremony ay isang silyang walang sandalan na idinisenyo para sa pag-upo, pag-inom ng tsaa, at pakikipag-usap. Ang balangkas nito ay gawa sa walnut at pinagsama gamit ang tradisyonal na Chinese mortise at tenon joints. Ang estruktura ay nagpapababa sa dami ng materyal na ginagamit, samantalang ang upuan ay nananatiling matatag at komportable sa paggamit. Ang ibabaw ng upuan at ang mga binti ay hinuhugis gamit ang computer-controlled machining at pagkatapos ay pinapakinis sa pamamagitan ng manual na pagpapakintab. Ang silya ay inihahatid nang hindi pa nakakabit upang buuin ng gumagamit. Ang anyo nito ay tumutukoy sa tradisyunal na kulturang Tsino ng seremonya, kung saan ang pag-upo ay itinuturing na isang magalang na kilos. Unique Properties: This is the design of a seat. Through structural innovation, this seat reduces the application of materials, and has a more stable and comfortable use experience. The form language of the seat has more charm characteristics of oriental culture.

Production Technology: Use Chinese (tenon and mortise joint) technology to connect the whole. The bench surface and leg are carved by CNC digital control machine in the first step, and then fine tuned by manual polishing. The material is walnut or black walnut, and the digital production adopts 3D virtual model.
Design Challenge: Finding a technical solution capable of merge at the highest-level aesthetic, comfort and sustainability,This also allows the use of few materials to maximize the functionality of the product.
Research: This is the design of a seat. The inspiration for the design comes from China's etiquette and civilization. The Book of Rites - The Moon Order has more meaning of treating each other with courtesy. The concept of the chair was based on important aspects of a good design, such as comfort, quality, and sustainable values. Nowadays a product needs to represent more than ever these key elements. This concept makes this chair unique along with its minimalist lines.
Inspiration: This seat is inspired by Chinese ritual, which has appeared in oracle bone inscriptions and early inscriptions on gold. In the Book of Rites, Yueling has more meaning of treating each other with courtesy. The behavior of sitting is also a kind of etiquette, and the design semantics of products also follow the etiquette culture and then expand. In the background study, it analyzes the inheritance of the spirit of ritual.
Project Duration: This project is completely new and unseen until now. Started and finished in Madrid inNovember 2022.
