About Shochu X Ang Disenyo Ng Packaging

Idinisenyo para sa rebranding ng Shochu X, isang kumpanya na lumilikha ng bagong halaga mula sa modernong pananaw para sa shochu, isang tradisyonal na espiritu na ginawa sa rehiyon ng Kyushu, Japan. Nakatuon sa katotohanan na ang tatak na ito ay hindi lamang nag-aalok ng halaga ng mga inuming may alkohol ngunit pinahahalagahan din ang kaugnayan sa kultura at pamumuhay. Gumamit ng Western spirits tulad ng hugis ng bote at label, ngunit nagdagdag ng graphic na disenyo na may Japanese style pattern at minimalist aesthetics upang ipahayag ang kultural na pagsasanib sa pagitan ng Kanluran at Silangan at mga pandaigdigang mamamayan' kaligayahan ng pagiging konektado sa lipunan sa pamamagitan ng shochu na ito.

Unique Properties: This design was made for a rebranding of Shochu X, which is a company that has been creating new value from a modern perspective for shochu, a traditional spirit produced mainly in many parts of the Kyushu region in Japan. The design work was done focusing on the fact that this brand does not simply offer the value of alcoholic beverages, but also places great importance on the relationship with food culture and lifestyles.

Inspiration: Shochu is a distilled spirit similar to whiskey, but it can be made from ingredients such as rice, sweet potatoes, brown sugar, as well as barley. After producing unprocessed shochu by single distillation, it can be aged for a long time in ceramic bottles, enamel tanks, or wooden barrels. And just like whiskey, different shochu are sometimes blended to create complex and diverse flavors. To match the diversity of the product, a different appearance was applied to different flavor in the design. In addition, based on the social significance of alcoholic beverages’ existence, which is to connect people, the emphasis was placed on the design that blends multi-ethnic cultures, as well as an affinity with lifestyle from a global perspective. To achieve this goal, a combination of a bottle shape and label normally used for Western spirits was adopted. However, in contrast to this, a graphic design with a Japanese-style pattern and minimalist aesthetics was incorporated to express the cultural fusion between the West and the East and people’s happiness that is being socially connected with this shochu as global citizens beyond national borders.
