About Theater House Bahay na Tirahan
Ang Theater House ay isang bahay na tirahan sa Jakarta, Indonesia. Pinag-uugnay ng disenyo ang bawat bahagi ng bahay sa pamamagitan ng split-level na layout, mula sa pasukan hanggang sa gitna ng tahanan. Ang pangunahing espasyo ay isang bukas na sala at silid-kainan na may mga bukasan sa magkabilang panig na nakaharap sa labas, na nagpapahintulot sa natural na liwanag at hangin na umikot. Ang planter box sa itaas ng portal ng pasukan ay bumubuo ng malambot na visual na buffer at nagbibigay ng tanawin ng hardin mula sa loob. Sa itaas na palapag matatagpuan ang mga silid-tulugan, na bawat isa ay may daan patungo sa roof garden. Ang mga pintura na may tekstura sa tatlong tono ng kulay abo at mga natural na tablang kahoy ang bumubuo sa mga finish.

- Unique Properties
- The primary objective is to establish a seamless connection between each program of the house by creating a split-level space throughout, from the initial encounter to the heart of the house. This design strategy also conveys a sense of spaciousness and unobstructed open space between the poolside terrace, living dining room, and covered multi-function terrace. The main hub of the house is an open space that serves as the living dining room, with an opening on both sides that overlook the outdoors. This placement allows natural air and light to freely circulate throughout the space. The planter box above the entrance portal provides a soft visual buffer from across the neighborhood to the living dining room, while also offering a garden view from within.

- Production Technology
- The building was finished with a special texture paint in three tones of grey, which creates an illusion of natural concrete finishing for the house. In certain areas, natural wooden planks are juxtaposed with a green composition, all of which work together to create a natural, air-ventilated, and sunlit living space.
- Inspiration
- The Theater House is inspired by the dynamic flow of a theater, with its split-level design representing tiered seating. The central open living space acts as the "stage," seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor areas. Large openings allow light and air to circulate, while natural materials like grey textured paint and wood evoke minimalist theater sets. Upstairs, private rooms open to a terraced roof garden, merging performance, nature, and living into one cohesive experience.
