Believe in Yourself Mücevher Yüzük Hakkında

Believe in Yourself, sesten yaratılmış bir yüzüktür. Formu, kişinin kendine inanmasına dair söylenen bir mesajın ses kaydından türetilmiştir. Bir mikrofon sesi kaydeder ve parametrik tasarım bu kaydı üç boyutlu eğrilere dönüştürür. Her yüzük, ilham olarak verilen ses kaydıyla biçimlendiği için hiçbir parça bir diğerine benzemez. Yüzük, 3D baskı ve kayıp mum (lost wax) tekniği kullanılarak 925 gümüşten üretilmiştir. Ölçüleri 20 x 30 x 30 milimetre olup ağırlığı 30 gramdır. Amaç, görünmez bir duyguyu takılabilir bir nesneye dönüştürmektir.

Tasarım Zorluğu: The challenges were all the testing and tweaking I had to do to get to the final product. All the discarded designs that were prior to what is now on the market. Two years of process are reflected in my current products and I have a lot more to contribute.
Araştırma: Since I came up with the idea of introducing feelings and emotions into objects, the first challenge was how to do it. I came to the conclusion that one of the many ways we express ourselves is with sound. The next challenge was to capture sound and interpret it to intervene certain shapes and lines. Using parametric design I was able to interpret the audio to manipulate vectors and turn them into objects. Jewelry are not only pieces but they also carry the essence of the person who wore it and with these pieces they have a new added value which is the feeling of the person who gave it as a gift. Transmitting the project is something that has cost me but I managed to get people to send me marriage proposals, love messages, memories of people who have gone, among other things. What I do is to transform those memories expressed in sounds to generate objects that can be unique, personal and that will be with them for the rest of their lives.
İlham: My inspiration is the reaction of people to see their feelings turned from something invisible into a product they can use. It's not only jewelry but in the shapes created by the vibrations, the pieces contain their stories.
Proje Süresi: This project started in 2022. Was exhibited in Milano Jewelry week and EVAC Gallery in New York .
