About Cali İçecek Bardağı

Officina Endorfino'nun bir yaratımı olan Cali cam eşya serisi, kişiliği işlevsellikle harmanlar. İstiflenebilir tasarımı yalnızca ürün hattını genişletmekle kalmaz, aynı zamanda bir kadehin zarafetini incelikle çağrıştırır. Seri, tümü borosilikat camdan üretilmiş üç farklı boyutta sunulmaktadır. Bu malzeme çeşitli renk kombinasyonlarına olanak tanır ve benzersiz özellikleri büyüleyici yansımalar yaratarak hacim, ağırlık ve yerçekimi algılarıyla oynar. Ayrıca ürün ambalajı geri dönüştürülmüş kartondan üretilmiştir.

Unique Properties: Cali is a new tumbler collection redefining the traditional drinking glass. The elegant, modular design is stackable and there are three different sizes. The series is made from borosilicate glass using the properties of the material to create a reflection and a play on the perception and gravity. It allows for interesting colour combinations and ensures the drinks are at the centre of attention. Just look at this glass!

Production Technology: The Cali glassware series is made from borosilicate glass. The material is known for its strength, durability and temperature resistance. The glass can be moulded and crafted in a variety of very different shapes and thicknesses. It is an infinitely recyclable material that can be re-melted again and again minimizing waste and environmental impact. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard.
Design Challenge: The main challenge was the necessity to create a series of modular and stackable drinking glasses in different sizes that also explore the formal possibilities of the material and make a visual statement.
Research: The design process was based on conceptual and formal research aimed at understanding material properties and opportunities of the category.
Product development and refinement through traditional sketching and 3D modelling.
Inspiration: Cali has a lot of personality and perfectly fits the identity of Officina Endorfino. The stackable design extends the product line naturally, while projecting its very own character. The shapes used merge the existing form language with a remote echo of an elegant chalice. The main body appears to be floating like a dream on top of the delicate but stable base. Cali dreaming.
Project Duration: The project was designed in Italy during the summer of 2024 as a quick side study for Officina Endorfino. A free exploration and exercise in glassware design.
