About Soda Grocery Харчова упаковка

Soda Grocery — це дизайн упаковки для сувенірних харчових продуктів, що продаються туристам у Макао. Мова дизайну запозичена з упаковки для феєрверків, яку виробляли в Макао протягом двадцятого століття. Зображення чотирьох жінок, взяті з історичної упаковки, перемальовані у вигляді сучасних ілюстрацій і надруковані яскравими кольорами. Ілюстраціями оздоблено чотири види харчової упаковки, кожна коробка розміром 185 на 145 на 55 міліметрів. Друкований пакувальний папір та внутрішні етикетки оздоблені тисненням, ультрафіолетовим покриттям, бронзуванням та висічкою. Дизайн зберігає регіональний характер, водночас відповідаючи сучасним смакам.

Design Challenge: Firecrackers in history are the representative products of Macau exported overseas. Therefore, in the design process of this project, it is necessary to retain the regional characteristics of Macau of the times, but also to have the style of modern design language, and to change the "attribute" of the packaging attached to its original pattern. : Since the setting of firecrackers is prohibited in Macau, the We need to change from the original packaging of firecrackers to packaging of special tourist food is the two biggest challenges of the project.
Research: Research Type is Exploration Research Research goal is Analyze the packaging of firecrackers that appeared in Macau in the 20th century, sum up its graphic language, and design a new type of packaging that meets the modern society with the characteristics Research Method is Observation Research tool is Old Macau firecracker packaging
Inspiration: The special history and culture of Macau created firecrackers with historical characteristics, but they suddenly disappeared after the industrial transformation. We summarized and sorted out representative packaging graphic languages, updated the design with modern graphic languages, adopted bold colors, and converted the original functions of the products into new packaging
Project Duration: The project started in Macau in March 2020 and will be completed in Macau in June 2020.
