About Cecilia بازو دار کرسی (آرم چیئر)
سیسیلیا ایک ایسی بازو دار کرسی ہے جو دوبارہ استعمال شدہ اور ردی قرار دیے گئے مواد سے تیار کی گئی ہے۔ اس کا ڈھانچہ بچی ہوئی لکڑی کی دبائی گئی پٹیوں سے بنایا گیا ہے، جسے چوڑے پایوں اور کشادہ نشست کی شکل دی گئی ہے تاکہ لکڑی کے چھوٹے کترنوں کو بھی کام میں لایا جا سکے۔ پشت (بیک ریسٹ) کپڑے کے بچے ہوئے چھوٹے ٹکڑوں سے تشکیل دی گئی ہے جو ایک لچکدار بنیاد کے ساتھ باندھے گئے ہیں اور اندر فوم بھرا گیا ہے، جس سے ایک نرم حجم اور اضافی آرام پیدا ہوتا ہے۔ نشست ردی چمڑے سے بنائی گئی ہے، جس پر پیوند اور تفصیلات شامل کی جا سکتی ہیں، چنانچہ ہر کرسی منفرد ہوتی ہے۔ اس کی نیچی اور پیچھے کی جانب جھکی ہوئی ساخت آرام کی دعوت دیتی ہے اور اسکینڈے نیویائی طرزِ ڈیزائن کی پیروی کرتی ہے۔

- Unique Properties
- Cecilia is an armchair in a sustainable way, the idea is to give new use to materials that could go to the trash. The design of its structure was designed touse pressed pieces of wood from reuse (left overs). The back, made of left over fabric, tied to a base creating an aesthetic volume and providing comfort. The seat, made of leather from discard, can receive amendments and details, its made it unic. The design of its low and reclining structure its an invitation to rest.

- Structure in pressed pieces of wood from reuse, Backseat a flexible base where small pieces of fabric were tied with a foam inside, and seat made by leather.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge was to use left over fabric for the backseat and left over wood for the structure. For the backseat we used a flexible base where small pieces of fabric were tied, creating an aesthetic volume an comfort while in use. For the structure, I designed larger feet and seat, that allowed me to use left over wood slats pressed.
- Research
- The research was made about types of sustainable and recycled materials, that could work in an aesthetic and functional way.
- Inspiration
- Inspired on the scandinavian style and with sustainable solutions, the armchair is a tribute to my grandmother, who was in love with handmade works, reflected on the backseat. She also loved nature and was short, that is why the armchair was made in a sustainable way and its design is lower, thought to be easier to use, welcoming and comfortable.
- Project Duration
- Started in November 2019 in Sao Paulo and finished in january 2020 in Santa Catarina.
