About Interdependence پوسٹر ڈیزائن

"انٹرڈیپینڈنس" (باہمی انحصار) ایک عوامی خدمت کا پوسٹر ہے جو جنگلی حیات کے تحفظ کی جانب توجہ دلانے کے لیے تخلیق کیا گیا ہے۔ پوسٹر میں کھانے کی ایک پلیٹ دکھائی گئی ہے۔ بائیں جانب مردہ جنگلی جانور، ایک چمگادڑ اور ایک چیونٹی خور (پینگولن) پڑے ہیں۔ دائیں جانب انسان کا متاثرہ پھیپھڑا رکھا ہے جس کے اندر کورونا وائرس کی شکل موجود ہے۔ جانوروں کا خون پھیل کر پھیپھڑے کی شکل اختیار کر لیتا ہے، اور پھیپھڑے کی خون کی نالیاں درخت کی شاخوں کی صورت میں بنائی گئی ہیں۔ یہ تصویر جنگلی جانوروں کے کھانے کو انفیکشن سے جوڑتی ہے اور یہ پیغام دیتی ہے کہ جنگلی جانوروں کا تحفظ دراصل انسانوں کا تحفظ ہے۔ پوسٹر کی پیمائش 70 در 50 سینٹی میٹر ہے اور اسے بیرونی مقامات اور آن لائن پیش کیا جاتا ہے۔

Unique Properties: This print advertisement aims to raise people’s attention on the wildlife protection with describing the relationship between coronavirus and eaten wildlife. It depicts two kinds of wild animals, bat and pangolin, and the human’s infected lungs lying on the dinner plate, which represents the relationship between the outbreak of coronavirus and the consumption of wild animal. In this way, the advertisement conveys the important idea that protecting wild animals is protecting human beings.

Production Technology: In this advertisement, the left side of the plate is a dead wild animal waiting to be eaten, while the right side of the plate is an infected human lung with coronavirus shape inside. The blood of the deal wild animal spreads to form the shape of the infected lungs, and the vessels of the lung is connected with the dead wild animal, indicating the relationship between eating wild animal and being infected with coronavirus. The vessels of the lung is designed in the shape of tree branches, which represents the nature and the human belong to the same community of shared destiny.
Design Challenge: I hope the final design is creative as well as intuitive and enlightening.
Research: Through studying tons of medical papers, media reports, and social medias, it seems that the public concerns about the correlation between bat, pangolin, and the coronavirus. Thus, this advertisement is designed with these two wild animals as symbols.
Inspiration: Coronavirus has spread to the world and caused certain panic among people. Some researchers pointed out that wild animals could be the source of the coronavirus.
Project Duration: The project started in Guangzhou in January 2020 and finished in February 2020 .
Operation Flow: When people see this advertisement, they can intuitively understand the meaning behind it, and know the importance of protecting wild animals.
