About Line Rings انگوٹھی

لائن رِنگز نو انگوٹھیوں کا ایک مجموعہ ہے جو پہننے والے اور زیور کے درمیان باہمی ربط کو نمایاں کرنے کے لیے ڈیزائن کیا گیا ہے۔ ہر انگوٹھی کے اندر موجود ایک متحرک گولا ایک پٹری کے ساتھ ساتھ پھسلتا ہے اور آواز، ارتعاش اور گردش کے ذریعے ردِعمل فراہم کرتا ہے۔ اس مجموعے کا تصور بھول بھلیاں اور ہندسی فنِ تعمیر سے لیا گیا ہے۔ کئی حصوں پر مشتمل ساخت گولے کے لیے مختلف راستے تخلیق کرتی ہے۔ یہ انگوٹھیاں تین جہتی پرنٹنگ اور لاسٹ ویکس کاسٹنگ کے ذریعے پیتل میں تیار کی گئی ہیں جن پر چاندی کا ملمع کیا گیا ہے۔ ہر انگوٹھی کی پیمائش تقریباً 4 ضرب 4 ضرب 4 سینٹی میٹر ہے۔

Unique Properties: This project is a collection of nine rings that are designed to highlight the interaction between wearer and jewelry. The moveable sphere inside the ring provides feedback to the wearer through sounds, vibration, and rotation.
Dimensions & Packaging: Approximately 4*4*4 cm each

Production Technology: 3D Printing; Lost Wax Casting; Brass; Silver Plating
Design Challenge: Precious measuring. After experimenting with different 3D printed materials, I limit the thickness of the wire to 1.2mm, with a 6mm gap in between the rail to ensure the sphere flow constantly in the ring. It is hard to calculate the measurement in a 3D form.
Inspiration: The Line Collection was inspired by the labyrinth and geometric architectures. The moveable sphere inside slides in various directions along the track, while diverse multi-segment structures bring greater possibilities to the trajectory of the ball. I utilized 3D CAD techniques to bring precision and higher complexity in creating perfect line construction in small scale rings.
Project Duration: The project started in September 2019 in Savannah, GA, and finished in March 2020.
