About Food in Nature فوڈ فوٹوگرافی

"فوڈ اِن نیچر" ایک فوڈ فوٹوگرافی پروجیکٹ ہے جو ویتنام کے شہر ہو چی منہ سٹی میں واقع ایک سی فوڈ ریستوران کے لیے تیار کیا گیا۔ یہ سیریز ایک نئے فائن ڈائننگ مینو کے پکوان پیش کرتی ہے، اور ہر پکوان کو اس کا اپنا لے آؤٹ اور کہانی دی گئی ہے۔ یہ تصور کھانے کو فطرت سے جوڑتا ہے، جس میں خشک و بےآب پتھروں سے اُگتے نازک پھول دکھائے گئے ہیں — ایک ایسا منظر جو بقا اور نشوونما کا اشارہ دیتا ہے۔ پھولوں کے شوخ رنگوں اور پتھروں کی غیرمعمولی ساختوں کو نمایاں کیا گیا ہے۔ مصنوعی روشنی کا استعمال سمندر سے منعکس ہونے والی روشنی کی نقل کرنے اور سی فوڈ کی تازگی کو ظاہر کرنے کے لیے کیا گیا۔

Unique Properties: FOOD IN NATURE is a food photography project created for Ngoc Suong Seafood & Bar, a modern seafood restaurant. The inspiration for this work is to feature the restaurant's new fine-dining menu. Each dish in the menu has its own story conveyed in different layouts.
Dimensions & Packaging: Canon 5D Mark IV with 24-70mm Lens was used in this photoshoot. All photos were shot via CaptureOne and retouched in Adobe Photoshop.

Production Technology: Artificial light was used in this photoshoot, creating the sparkling light reflecting from the sea to express the freshness of the seafood.
Design Challenge: The hardest part of this project is to find the perfect stones and flowers, as well as search and create appropriate lighting set-ups to convey the ideas the best.
Research: How food can be combined with elements of nature such as flowers and stones is the core of this project. Magazines and portfolio websites are the main sources to see how modern artists approach their artworks. All sketches were done thoroughly before shooting to make sure lighting, props, and layouts as perfect as possible. Stones and flowers were found in nature to enhance the feeling of Mother Nature.
Inspiration: The inspiration came from the idea of how food should connect closely to Mother Nature, by capturing the moment of fragile flowers growing from arid stones, which symbolizes survival. And the concentration is on the vibrant colors of the flowers and the unique shape of the stones gave.
Project Duration: The photoshoot lasted for 12 hours in total, including 3 hours setting up different layouts and 9 hours shooting in September 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Operation Flow: Those images are supposed to create engagement between the brand and its customers. Since trends in food photography and marketing are changing, the project gives a modern, natural, and contemporary touch to the restaurant’s new menu.
