About Blooming Beauty انگوٹھی

"بلومنگ بیوٹی" ایک دستکاری سے تیار کردہ انگوٹھی ہے جو رات کو کھلنے والے آبی کنول (واٹر للی) سے متاثر ہو کر بنائی گئی ہے۔ یہ انگوٹھی چاندی سے بنی ہے اور اس پر سیاہ و سنہری روڈیم پالش کی گئی ہے۔ پنکھڑیوں کو پلیک آ ژور (plique à jour) اینامل سے مکمل کیا گیا ہے جس میں گہرے میجنٹا اور جامنی (پرپل ہارٹ) رنگوں کا امتزاج ہے، جو روشنی میں نکھر اٹھتا ہے اور مدھم روشنی میں زیادہ گہرا دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ درمیانی حرکت پذیر گیند میں ایک پولکی ہیرا جڑا گیا ہے۔ ترتیب دی گئی پنکھڑیوں اور درمیانی گیند کو حرکت دے کر انگلیوں یا ہاتھ کے اوپر رکھا جا سکتا ہے، جس سے پہننے والا اس کے انداز میں تبدیلی لا سکتا ہے۔ انگوٹھی کی پیمائش 73.5 × 63.5 ملی میٹر ہے۔

Unique Properties: In an endeavour to relive feminine moods with elegance, the elements of this ring are designed with a playful spirit. The petals are fused with plique-a-jour enamel which brightens with illumination, and maintains a dense character in tranquility and dimness. Free movement of structured petals with movable diamond studded center ball highlights the easiness of innate elegance with bold decision making; thereby signifying how dynamics of efflorescence can fashion the blooming of an avant garde.

Production Technology: Following the impeccable tradition of ancient times, this ring’s prototype to final structure was altogether handcrafted. Petals were intricately detailed with the method of plique-a-jour enamel. For their hue, hot magenta was meticulously fashioned with Purple Heart after multiple attempts to perfection. The polki diamond studded in center ball is the crown jewel in its original rough yet polished form. Finally, the silver based ring has black and gold rhodium machinery polish for a final touch.
Design Challenge: While handcraftsmanship is a unique method to create an authentic jewel piece, it is indeed the toughest way to manufacture an ingenious one. The altogether handmade ring posed challenging in achieving the colour of its enameled petals and then the dynamics of maneuvering its structured petals and ball. Arduous methods were devised with multiple attempts to get the perfectly resembling colour of the inspirational lily, as well as for state-of-art mechanism that follows the moods of the wearer.
Research: The idea to fashion this ring is a fancy recollection of the full bloom lily, blossomed its best in midnight. The colour and dynamics of plique-a-jour enameled petals under light, mirrors the brighten lily in moonlight radiance. Natural material like silver with handcrafting technique is chosen for a natural bent. Its assembly has motivated Indian craftsmanship and generated employment. Thus this jewel is an attempt to impersonate the magnificence of nature and a giveback to the environment
Inspiration: The ring is inspired by beauty of night water lilies, blooming their best at midnight. Just as lilies flower in the pleasant moonlight glaze, this ring's structured petals and movable center ball can together be maneuvered with wearer's mood. They can be placed on fingers or on hand; signifying impactful flaunting, within one’s comfort zone. Thus this polki diamond studded jewel is an embodiment of preserving one’s original self in quest of Avant Garde, blooming in the moonlit inner peace.
Project Duration: Project started on 10th January, 2021 and was finished on 18th February, 2021. It was carried out in Delhi, India.
Operation Flow: Highlight of this ring is that the user can play and interact by the way it is worn. Spreading out placement of structured leaves and movable center ball can be placed on fingers or on hand. This dynamics of maneuvering suits the mood of the wearer while elegantly flaunting a new look. The mobility also evolves light effect on petals fused with plique-a-jour enamel. Their colour, a blend of hot magenta with Purple Heart, further brightens up with illumination; thereby giving it a unique feature.
