About Kama-Asa Shop ریٹیل انٹیریئر ڈیزائن

کاما-آسا شاپ ٹوکیو میں باورچی خانے کے آلات فروخت کرنے والی ایک دکان کا ریٹیل انٹیریئر ڈیزائن ہے۔ یہ دکان اس عقیدے پر مبنی ہے کہ اچھے اوزار کسی اچھی وجہ سے بنائے جاتے ہیں، چنانچہ یہ جگہ اُن کاریگروں کی مہارت کو پیش کرتی ہے جو نمائش میں رکھے گئے اوزار تیار کرتے ہیں۔ اسی خیال کی عکاسی کے لیے اندرونی ڈیزائن تعمیراتی کاریگروں کی مہارت کو نمایاں کرتا ہے۔ ری بار، یعنی وہ دھاری دار فولادی سریا جو عام طور پر دیواروں کے اندر چھپا رہتا ہے، یہاں مرکزی ڈیزائن عنصر بن جاتا ہے۔ ہینڈ ریلز اور فرنیچر ری بار سے بنائے گئے ہیں۔ شکلیں سادہ ہیں، مگر پھر بھی ان کے کام میں نہایت باریک بینی اور مہارت درکار ہے۔

Unique Properties: As Kama-Asa Shop's policy is set on belief that good tools are made for good reason, it delivers to the customers excellent skills of craftsmen, which make kitchen utensils.
Therefore, the most appropriate for the shop's space was to show architectural skills of craftsmen. The rebar that is usually hidden in the wall became the main design.
Handrails and furniture were designed with rebar. Although they are simple, they still require the use of craftsman skills.

Inspiration: Concept - the rebar

The rebar is a stick-shaped rolled steel material formed from irregular nubs called ribs and joints that are used as a building construction material.

Design started from May 2018 to May 2020
Construction started from May to July 2020 in Tokyo.
